Michelle earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a minor in accounting. She currently holds her FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and is a CFP® certificant.
Since joining Baird in May 2002, Michelle has worked in both the Equity Capital Markets and Private Wealth Management side of research. Although she enjoyed her time in research, she found her permanent home in Private Wealth Management working with teams who focus on helping individuals reach their retirement goals.
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Michelle embodies Midwestern values. She prides herself on having a strong work ethic, being honest and direct, and always being willing to go above and beyond to help others. She is very active within the Milwaukee PWM branch as a mentor and a trainer to other Client Specialists as well as an active participant on several focus groups. It came as no surprise that Michelle was the 2023 winner of Baird’s prestigious G. Frederick Kasten Jr. Award which recognizes an associate who consistently demonstrates outstanding client service and pursues extraordinary outcomes.
Michelle and her husband, Gilberto, live in Grafton, WI with their two daughters. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Michelle loves traveling, reading, and volunteering at St. Paul Lutheran Church as well as within the 4-H organization.
